Our Credit Terms

In ordering coffee from us on credit, you accept our terms.

If you do not like our credit terms, please contact us to discuss, or pay in advance for your coffee. But essentially, as long as you pay, there will be no issues - kind of logical really.

We extend credit as a service, and expect payment on the 20th of each month to settle the previous month's account.

If there is a problem with the account - that is missed delivery or suchlike, we expect you to have notified us within a few days of the invoice being emailed to you. Claims can't be effectively dealt with a week after shipment (although we will always try and resolve the problem)

If you have a problem paying us - let us know you are having problems so we can work out an arrangement with you. Failing that we will have to assume the worst and take steps to recover what you owe us.

If you cease trading with us, the balance of your account is immediately due in full without deduction, and all equipment belonging to us is to be returned at your expense immediately in good order and condition.

In the unlikely event that we deem an account to be delinquent, we will take any or all of the following measures to have your account settled, this is the process we will use:

  1. If an account is deemed to be delinquent by us, and at our discretion, an allowance for management of the account will be added to cover our time. This is currently $250 plus GST
  2. All costs associated with the collection of your account will be added to your account.
  3. Interest on the overdue amount will be calculated at the prevailing cost of credit to us - to give a guide this will be around the same interest rate that a credit card charges. Interest will be calculated on a daily basis and added at the end of each month, and at the time of final settlement.
  4. The account will be passed onto the credit agency of our choosing, and any charges, costs and commissions will be added to any amount outstanding.
  5. We reserve the right to publish the details of your account once you have been notified that we consider the account to be delinquent, this may include, but is not limited to local newspapers and other media including the Internet.
  6. We reserve the right to seek assistance through the courts and all costs associated will be added to the account.
  7. We will notify you of the change in status of your account to your last notified email address - or the last one that didn't bounce.
