This was held over the weekend (6 - 8th June) at the Alinghi base at the Viaduct.

We won the Gold Award for the Best NZ Espresso!

We are thrilled with the result - this is the third time the Howler Monkey has won an award in this category - so you could say about time!

Other events included the Latte Art competition - and it was cool that our 12 year old entered an impromptu blind pouring competition - and in our humble opinion showed up some very good baristas in the process (she didn’t spill a drop, unlike others who seemed to completely miss the cup)

So a great weekend, and looking forward to the next competition and festival!
